At DCGES, the National Cadet Corps (NCC)program is a strong platform for developing discipline, confidence, and national pride among students. The unit is led by F/O Pooja Hansrajsingh Tobadia, who systematically trains and mentors cadets throughout the academic year.

Students from Classes 8 and 9 undergo structured training in drill and parade, command practice, physical fitness, and NCC theory. They are prepared for the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) and actively participate in firing practice, mock drills, awareness rallies, tree plantation drives, and Nukkad Natak (street plays), strengthening both leadership and social responsibility.

After two years of dedicated training, cadets appear for the NCC ‘A’ Certificate Examination, which supports their future academic and defence career opportunities. A proud achievement for our school was the selection of Cadet Vaibhavi Vaghela for the prestigious RDC (Republic Day Camp) in Delhi, reflecting excellence and commitment.

Conclusion

The NCC program at DCGES is more than training it is a journey of character building and nation-building. Under strong guidance and disciplined practice, our cadets grow into confident, responsible, and service-oriented leaders ready to contribute positively to society and the nation.
