Our school hosted a vibrant and engaging Pre-Primary Open Day, where parents were warmly welcomed into a specially designed learning environment set up on the school ground. The event aimed to give parents a clear insight into our teaching approach while strengthening the bond between school and home.
The Open Day was honoured by the presence of our respected trustee, Mr. Shantu Sir, along with our Principal Ma’am and Amol Sir. Parents enthusiastically explored thoughtfully created interactive learning stations, where Pre-Primary teachers demonstrated how concepts are taught through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and simple practical methods. The teachers explained each activity with clarity and warmth, helping parents understand the learning process in an engaging way.
A special effort was made to actively involve parents through fun and meaningful activities. Parents enjoyed a creative puzzle activity where they searched for their child’s name, making the experience personal and exciting. Another highlight was an interactive wall activity with a mirror effect, where opening sections revealed reflections symbolizing connection and self-awareness. These activities helped parents not only understand the learning approach but also feel connected, involved, and joyful throughout the event.
The event also introduced our value-based curriculum books Satya, Prem, Shaurya, and Ahimsa, specially designed for the Pre-Primary section. These books focus on building strong values, emotional understanding, and character from an early age, which was highly appreciated by parents.
Conclusion
The Pre-Primary Open Day was more than a presentation of teaching methods it was a celebration of connection, collaboration, and shared responsibility. By actively involving parents and showcasing our value-based approach, the event strengthened trust and partnership between school and families. It truly reflected our belief that when parents and teachers work together, children grow with confidence, joy, and strong values.
