DCGES celebrated Guru Purnima 2025 with deep devotion and heartfelt gratitude, honoring the invaluable role of teachers and parents in shaping young minds and guiding students toward knowledge and character.
The celebration began with the Akshar Aarambh Ceremony for Nursery students, marking their sacred initiation into the world of learning. The ceremony was conducted by our respected Trustee, Mr. Chandrakant Pamnani Sir, along with our Principal, Mrs. Disha Doultani. Parents were specially invited to witness this auspicious beginning, making the moment emotionally significant and memorable for both children and families
A deeply touching highlight of the event was the Guru Pujan performed by the Secondary Section students. With reverence and gratitude, students honored their teachers as guiding Gurus who illuminate the path of wisdom. In a heartfelt gesture, students also performed pujan for the parents present, acknowledging them as a child’s first and lifelong teachers.
Students from all four houses presented thematic performances based on the theme “Balance of Life,” inspired by the teachings of Vashistha" and Vishvamitra**. Through expressive dances and dramatic enactments, they beautifully conveyed the importance of discipline, harmony, wisdom, and inner strength in leading a balanced life.
Conclusion
The Guru Purnima celebration was not merely a ceremonial observance but a powerful reminder of the guiding light that teachers and parents provide in every child’s journey. By honoring the Guru-shishya tradition and reinforcing timeless values, the event strengthened our commitment to nurturing respectful, balanced, and value-driven individuals. The celebration left the entire DCGES community spiritually enriched, united in gratitude, and inspired to uphold the path of knowledge and righteousness.
